Hair takes forever to do, but it can make ALL the difference in your dolls appearance. I love her little face, so pretty. Thanks for the detailed tutorial.

Thanks so much Mandi. Yes the hair does take a while, and it's fun to try different yarns or embroidery threads.😇

loved watching your mermaid coming to life, her eyes, lips, her whole face is just adorable!!!!!!!! I hope you make more videos as you are a natural teacher. you explain things brilliantly and I love your work and dolls. Will you ever do the face and hat for the Bella Doll please?
@KindabamCrochet5 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much dottygin. My Iphone stopped working & the footage that I took of Bella's eyes (in the red dress) is now lost 😥. .. but I have been filming the eyes & mouth embroidery of the one in yellow & that should be ready for viewing soon. There will also be a tutorial for hair, including a wig cap version. I will be making videos for removable clothing for Bella as well. Thank You for your lovely comments 😇

I am so excited to hear this, I am looking forward to them, iv clicked on the bell so any videos you post from now on I will see them straight away. so sorry you lost your footage on Bella's eyes, that must have been very frustrating. xx

@@dottygin Thank You for your support. Yes I was very sad when it happened & she turned out really cute too. The little yellow one is looking good though, so I'm happy about that 😉

That is very helpful, I made a small doll for my new niece but having no mouth or nose like the pattern just looks wrong.

Thank You Amy, I'm glad to hear that. I feel like they look un-finished without a mouth😉

I did an ariel doll with only eyes and thought the same, especially since my granddaughter is learning the names and where her eyes, mouth and nose are on her face. I LOVE the simple little button nose with thread! It is just enough and quite perfect. ;)

Thanks for saying so...cause the eyes I tried to do turned out a mess...doll ruined.....have to make another doll and try again.... wish me luck.....have a feeling I will end up buying eyes...you rock
@KindabamCrochet5 жыл бұрын
I still mess up when I'm trying out different shapes 😅. maybe with the next one, you could embroider the face once you have reached the neck? That's how I did it in the beginning. I wish you luck, but will add the note: practice, patience & more practice 😉

What size thread did you use? I’m trying to buy some but I don’t know if I need to go with a size 10 or a size 3 or should I go smaller ?

First off, I love your beautiful Alto voice!! Second, could you do a tutorial for a cat nose and mouth? I'm loving your eyes but I need a cat style mouth and nose!!
@KindabamCrochet5 жыл бұрын
Thank You so much for your compliment 😘 . I embroidered my first bear face not too long ago & it turned out really cute. So a cat face is something I'd like to do. It might be a while as my fun creative time is very limited these days but I will give it a go when I can 😉
@blkrose51754 жыл бұрын
Well a total let down.....did the doll cause your directions are just great....but when I followed with the eyes....i really messed up....had a little girl waiting fir the doll today...i like these eyes better than fake ones....second doll done...so afraid of doing the eyes...yikes😊
@KindabamCrochet4 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry that your first attempt didn't work for you. It does take a little practice. When I mess up the eyes, I cut all the threads loose & pull out any threads that are left with tweezers and give it another go. I wish you luck with your next one😉
