It's always fun to play the bee!!! I've used several ways to pollinate. Of course the best is the brush!! But I've also done it plant to plant contact, with a small wood pick , picking a flower and pulling away the petals and using it like a brush, picking antlers and using them and even used my little finger to gather grains of pollen and transferring them on the fly so to speak, did this on a few Euphorbias. I love doing this to get new and different plants!!! Thanks for sharing Lyn!!! From Morris Park in the Ozarks, to across the emerald isle, have a wonderful day!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!!✌️💖🌵🌿🌷🌳🌻🌸🪴🌴🌹🌱🌾🍀💐🏜😃👍

When you cross pollinate do the whole plant flower produce a new color. Whole plant or just that stem you pollinate 🥺
@desertplantsofavalon22 күн бұрын
Hi, if the cross pollination between the two different flowers is a success and seeds develop, the seeds will grow into a new hybrid of a mix between the two different coloured Schlumbergeras, pollinating the red with the pink can produce a deep pink flowering Schlumbergera, growing from seed can take a long time and the seedlings usually have to be at least 4-5 years before they are mature enough to flower and to see what the colour of their flowers turn out to be, thanks so much for your wonderful comment and for watching and wishing you a fantastic plant powered Thursday XXXX
