Handling gossip and rumors can be incredibly difficult and it can be really hard to understand why anyone would want to start a nasty rumor about you. It's important to keep in mind that if someone has started a rumor about you that is just completely false, it's honestly just to do with their own insecurities. They're just trying to hurt you to make themselves feel better.
So try not to take it personally. What you want to do is make sure that your best friends know the truth. When someone wants to know something they always go to the best friend, right? So make sure that your best friends are able to say "Oh no, of course that's not true." And they can help you set the record straight. If you hear someone in the hallway talking about this nasty rumor going around, don't confront them and get in their face and be like "That's not true. Why did you say that?" or anything super dramatic and ridiculous and something that belongs in a reality show. Instead, casually drop in the conversation later when you're all talking.
"Oh. I heard this ridiculous rumor about me today. Of course this isn't true." Play it off casually like you don't really care that that rumor has been started because that's not true and that kind of stuff doesn't bother you. Right? At least pretend like it doesn't. The best thing I can say about dealing with rumors and gossip is to relax a little bit and that's the hardest thing to do when you hear that other people are saying things about you. Just try not to worry about it. The truth is everyone is going to find something else to talk about in like 5 minutes. So if you can get through it you'll be very happy you did.

I been having that... this girl at my school keeps on talking about me and she has a friend with her that use to be my friend sort of and now that girl keeps on talking about me at school and i just can't stop crying all the time the girl who keeps talking about me her name is Gaoly Vue we and me use to be friends but sense she didn't like me anymore i kinda don't want to be near her anywhere :) and i just hope one day that she just know how to stop gossiping about me and just get a life ... Yuuri :o same situation when i was on middle school. im hs now. I had a friend, We had to compete on a race. I was on 1st place. I didnt look elsewhere after the race...My grandmother just told me that she saw her looking at me like its not the end of it. after that day she never started to treat me like her friend before. she got jealous, and i thought like she was only wanting me to be her friend so she could beat me...not only the race but overall, knowledge etc. We were 3 friends, the other one was so nice to me. She still hang out with me even if the other one doesnt--- but the other one kept trying to seperate the two of us...until they were friends to other 2 girls who were bullies and gossips alot. Until now they still kept doing it, I just ignored it. So what? When someone gossips about you, That just means your above them.

Mine is also true but don't want other people to know !! Actually the thing is..... I don't know why people have soo much interest in others life??!!! There are rumors about me that I like a boy in 8 and I'm in 6. The whole 6,7,8 class believe in it and I don't know how to clear my name??!! The real story is that...among all the seniors I have respected him the most he's just well mannered and serious about his studies, I like this..!! One day I was just playing with a pen and JST FOR FUNNNN I wrote his name on my palm and that was my bad luck that someone had seen it during assembly and since then the rumors have started. I don't want this to spread among all the teachers??!!! I don't want them to tease me and I want them to tell the truth but don't know how?????!!!! One friend of mine had just told me about this !! Day after 2morow is my school and I don't know how to react and manage this situation !! This may seems like a small thing but its not fun for me I'm really scared what if my parents and teachers get to know about this??
