What Pastor Rick says is the best advice you can ever have in dealing with daily challenges where people ridicule and oppose you mainly because they are jealous of your ability.
@je399812 жыл бұрын
Thank you Pastor Rick for this message. I was ridiculed at work by another co-worker as I was helping a customer. It was funny because I didn't see that person the entire day and it was to my surprise their words reflected what was always on their heart. I am preparing for a new chapter in my life for a job I have no idea what is in it for me. I believe life is testing and I decided to research "Jesus being ridiculed". This sermon was a blessing and it has taught me that the attacks will always come. I'm preparing for a new season in my life and I'm aware that the challenges will only become greater. God is in control and I believe in him. Amen.

I love you pastor Rick my son died of suicide on June 28 2021 a month ago I was a big fan of your sermon how God can heal a broken heart you talk about your son Mathew on that sermon I always watched it probably like 30 times before my son passed away I feel like God was preparing me for this , I really don't know but when my son died I heard a still small voice in my head tell me to go to that video , you know pastor my son's name was Daniel abelhe was only 15 he loved bass guitar,guitar , ukulele , and piano and was in band in middle school your sermons have helped me so much to cope with my loss and just like you God chose to mess with the wrong mama bear I refuse to let my son's life be a tragedy I pray so much that if it is God's will that he helps me and my son's life save and help other people that have been through what we have been through ,and I already started by praying for other mother's and sharing that video and another one where your wife comes out Talking about Mathew that also is very comforting thankyou pastor Rick for serving God I am praying for you because your awesome you truly are you are heaven sent praise God almighty

This was absolutely fantastic. Just exceptional. Don't take teachings lightly brothers & sisters. The Lord has His vessels equip us for the battle at hand. Take notes, watch twice if need be, even save this. For the day of persecution is certain but rest in knowing that the grace of God, a strong tower, shall be all the more. Be blessed in the name of Christ Jesus pastor Rick. Much love. Thank you for the surrendering of self to Abba's will. Surely you shall receive the crown of life. Hallelujah

Then Tobia joined in, 5 tactics used on Nehemiah, through Jesus my angels will help prevent failure. How do I handle adversity.? Anytime you feel attacked, tell God how upset you are, always pray first. Pray. God you can hear their ridicule let their guilt be handed by Jesus. He confesses his feelings. Anytime your demeaned don't take it without people, talk about it with God, my trust is in God. Ignore hurtful comments God of heaven gives us success, We shall rebuild. Ridicules and insults reaffirm our faith in Jesus grace,

Handle insults and ridicule...by divorcing your ego and narratives! Often we make things “mean” something by looking through a narrow lens, we apply intent from others & are often wrong. Putting aside arrogance and ignorance and embracing humility, is the ultimate. We get there through questioning “the story”. If we are secure and believe in our own worth, we won’t be moved by others opinions. We see the truth, when others ridicule and criticize, it is a reflection of their own dissatisfaction projected outwards. If we don’t take things personally, we are free :)

I find it is better to remove yourself very quietly and calmly with out saying a word. I notice sometimes when people are at a gathering and a stranger starts picking on someone for no reason they will continue to stay seated at that table and they don’t remove themselves form that person, instead they will let it progress into another insult and then they lose control and horrid words are exchanged by both people. I can tell when I am around people who are acquaintances and strangers long before they say anything because the look or body language speaks volumes. I never go near anyone who is hostile or I feel like their is negatively in a place, I will leave quietly. One day years ago I was about to enter my favourite supermarket at the plaza when I heard what sounded like three people arguing. I turned around and decided to go to another supermarket. I hate violence of any kind. And yes I do get some horrid things said to me even by my own family. I still love everyone there is no love lost I still say Hi with a beautiful smile and I would be the first one there if they were hurt. But because they are acting like a child of Wrath I have to distance myself. You can love someone without being around them. Be like your brother Jesus never respond to violence of any kind just gently walk away or if you are on public transport just get off the bus and catch another one. If you are at a party avoid people who are intoxicated and becoming obnoxious or you can leave early. Nothing looks more hideous than two people having heated words with each other. Wives and husbands have the most heated arguments that can sometimes lead to separation or sometimes murder. And little children are in the crossfire of that. Losing your temper is so ugly and makes people come across as though they are insane. And no one wants to be around anyone who has lost touch with reality. 😊

@arhansolo87253 жыл бұрын
Hi Sherri. So good you dare to write your feelings. Whatever is hurting you now Christ promises you hope that finally everything will be ok. Love people but first make sure you love yourself. Follow the faith and have faith that the path your are walking is yours. With Christ in your heart you will be the best person you can be. Let go of anger and sorrow and other negative feelings. Focus on good and positive feelings. Negative people do not deserve too much attention. Positive people will give you positive energy. It is so beautiful. Rick said:'Being happy is a choice..' and knowing what Rick has gone through you (royal you) know you have to listen. God bless you, bless Rick and bless all people who dare to live with Jesus in there heart...

And what about when ppl harass because of different race? Or because of sex? Or weight looks education etc? Ppl get bullied and traumitized all the time here on earth. Many are tortured and murdered in a daily basis. I love God. But my advice is dont be a victim. Bullies and tormwntors need their teeth knocked out.
