How to Handle Real Life Expenses - Kim Kiyosaki [CASFHLOW Clubs]

The CASHFLOW Board Game is a representation of what Robert and I went through to get to where we are today. This game is our journey and a way to share it with you all in a fun and educational way.
Along our journey, we were faced with many expenses and so we came up with the 10/10/10 plan.
Every month we took 30 percent from our paychecks and divvied it up like so: 10% Investment, 10% Savings, and 10% Charity or Tithing.
Our third piggy bank called "charity" or tithing was so we could give 10 percent of our income to charity because we believe in giving back and that you must give in order to receive.
Another way to make this game even more realistic was by adding the component of landing on the space "baby" because these are real-life expenses everyone should consider. If your children are financially educated in the right way then they can actually turn out to be assets in your life as opposed to liabilities.

Oddly their are hoarding laws for a reason. It does not apply to properties since due to the other golden rule of he who has the gold makes the rules. Even the bible get it to explain it. But then people wonder why society gets worse when prices for homes and taxes go up and then everyone tries to fight over a dump. Sure it is normal but its a dog eat dog world which the bigger fish will eat the smaller fish sooner or later before it all collapses. The only reasons society got to progress was agreements that was fair to everyone since everyone has a moral obligation and didn't need law to tell people what is right or wrong since people knew it already. Now its how far can one push the envelope which will always indirectly step on another and the affects are showing all over and the quality of life is hurting everyone even the rich which are scared and need more to feel more secure. The irony of life. Just something to think about.

I bought this game a week ago today. I have probably played it 45+ times now. I'm becoming obsessed with it, extremely motivational and I am excited to get into my first session on richdad. However... I have to confess. I do not have kids, nor do I ever want kids. Because of this, karma has seen fit to max out the number of children you can have EVERY. TIME. I. PLAY!! So I have a suggestion for an updated version of the game. How about I have the option before I start the game, to add $5 a month to my expenses for condoms to protect me from the dreaded baby square??

I was playing CashFlow with my 8 year old daughter and she landed on baby twice. She was devastated. We still laugh about it now although I think she still doesn't understand what a gift that a child is. I stopped laughing when she made a fortune on some cool deals. Love the game, it's an education for all of us. Hopefully she'll take the lessons into adulthood.
