@DrChristianConte my grand Littles attend a school where the premise is they are super heroes on a heroes journey. It's beautiful. They even have capes. I believe that everyone is a super hero and some of us have been put under a spell and the rest are still figuring things out. I just had no idea others felt like me, myself and I. Wholly War. Not holy. And I am witnessing it.

I yell at men when they stare at me. Jay z did an interview awhile back and talked about my exact scenario. A girl got mad at him for staring and He said “oh you think I see you” “you’re in a space where you’re hurting and you don’t want me to see your pain” “so if I look at you you get upset” and those words hit me so hard because that’s exactly how I feel. Controlling my emotions is a daily struggle for me. I know how bad it can get that I rather stay at home all day then go out because I know I’m going to go off on someone. So happy I found your channel seeing people in the comments talk about their issues really help. I know I’m not the only one struggling.

RLSCS I’m so grateful to hear that. I would love for you to try it, and really give yourself time with it. We just see so many neurological benefits from it, so I get to say with evidence backing me, that it can really help. If you start with two mins a day, that gives you a chance to make it a habit. Eventually doing it for 5 minutes a day at a minimum is ideal. I do have a video on meditation, too, and I plan to make more, so I’d definitely appreciate if you subscribe. Thank you for watching. Hello Dr. Christian Conte,i just wanted to say how thankful i am on how your expressing the right methods in how to control you're emotions.out of all the emotions i have, anxiety is the worst.it tends to turn into anger or sadness mostly because my mind for some reason LOVES to come up with these stories that are 99% negative.but like you said perfectly,theirs a beginning a middle and an end. i will defently apply all of the methods that you have offered."we master what we practice."

@DrChristianConte28 күн бұрын
I practice this constantly. One day, during a meditation, it blew my mind when I realized that we are so quick to question others (especially those we disagree with), and we all like to give lip service to the idea that we "still have more to learn," but then, how often to we question our own ego? How often do we question our own assumptions? I believe it is well worth our time to do. Thank you for your comment and for noticing that line. Sending you much gratitude and peace!

What he is saying is true, for the bible says we have the power to speak those things that be not as though they were. He also says be still. He also says worry not at all. He also says lean not to your own understanding. Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your MIND. this was truly a great teaching and my spirit agrees with this wisdom. WELL SPOKEN.

Present moment mindfulness and meditation were introduced to me in 2006 in Eckhart Tolle's book "The Power of Now". I was recently divorced, and what i learned was instrumental in enduring and overcoming the trauma of that time. I allowed myself to get away from it, and now am facing the prospect of yet another divorce. I discovered Dr. Conte only recently, but am so grateful for this video which has squarely helped me return to the very things i know are true and helpful. Thank you for this video.
