I’ve been painting for over 30 years and never knew there was a difference between studio and gallery canvases. I found this video while trying to find a video on how to frame an oil painting, but after seeing this, I’m changing my mind about the frame. I’m going to try your technique instead. There are lots people in the world and each think differently. So no matter what you do there will be people who will not like what you are doing no matter what. So you just have to look at the majority and as of this writing it's 4.3K vs. 154 so he is doing quite well with the video.

Iv seen thousands of painting videos and have multiple playlist of them, i have 1 playlist of the best and one other playlist of the best of the best that has all the fundamentals of painting and i must say this video alone is the best of my number one playlist.
