@maythao19267 жыл бұрын
This is the best marbling art work I have seen on youtube. You really know what you are doing. I am excited to try this on my table and countertops. My question is...when you say use acrylic and polyurethane and acrylic, so it doesn't yellow, what is that exact step. Did you mix them and then brush it on or did you do them separately? Also what kind of acrylic and polyurethane did you use?
@heather18726 жыл бұрын
Nhia Alberts it'd polycrylic
@valeriegadeke33652 жыл бұрын

How is the counter top holding up?
@nicholeparris83884 жыл бұрын
I'd like to know this too. I've wanted to do this for years but am afraid polycrylic wont hold up in the kitchen, since its water based. But, I dont want yellowing so I dont want to use polyurethane 😔
@lindaaaron179 жыл бұрын
Do you think you could do this on a plain cement fireplace mantle to get a marble look to it? Thanks....
@jenjen75949 жыл бұрын
Thanks for this. I am going to re-do a cultured marble bathroom vanity and was looking for a more subtle finish than the dark highly contrasted finish techniques that are out there. This will be perfect! Do you know if I can incorporate some of the latex paint (in the color of the bathroom) into the veins? Would latex work alongside the acrylic? I would like to try the Envirotex lite coating.
@LeilaGhauri6 жыл бұрын
Would this work on existing counters? The cheap old counters (not sure what material they are made out of)

Really should put a drop cloth under that table, especially since there's wall-to-wall carpeting.
@hart32546 жыл бұрын
I am wanting to do this to my counter and backspash so bad, then painr my cabinets. Can't decide on the color cabs though either white or some kind of blue, like a greyish blue.
@Elligons7 жыл бұрын
Nice work. So fast too.
@jocelyngarrett32699 жыл бұрын
Hi! The gray glaze where you mixed cobalt blue and a drop of black, what kind of paints are those?,I will definitely do this on my countertops!,,,thanks
@ashleykelly30928 жыл бұрын
Jocelyn Garrett I have the same question. Are they from a paint can or an actual glaze can? That's the only way I know how to ask. Are they latex, water based or oil based? Would like to know EXACTLY what you used for paint. Thanks!

Did the paint on the countertop hold up over time with the heat of cooking and all?
@a1930ford8 жыл бұрын
Never mind. Found such on Ebay and ordered..
@nicholeparris83884 жыл бұрын
Several people have asked, with no response. How have the counties held up? I've wanted to do this for years but I dont want yellowing so cant use polyurethane. And I'm not sure how well polycrylic will hold up around water, since its water based. Please answer 😔
