GOD BLESS THIS VIDEO! My daughter had created a dummy Google account to use an old LG phone for playing games, etc. and just recently upgraded to an iPhone so I was trying to reset the old LG phone. But it was all tangled up in the stupid Google FamilyLink app and wouldn't let me reset the phone so I could recycle it. This video saved my life! Thank you so much!

It may take more than one attempt at factory resetting. Mine took 3 times and each time after it, it still went to the "android is loading" screen, but the 3rd time it actually said "erasing data" and then after I let it finish the "android is loading" it actually loaded android. You would think 1 attempt would work, but if you don't get the "erasing data" screen with the large color changing circle animating, try it again.

Unfortunately a hard factory reset will not delete or remove a Google account (old email). You either have to log in using a Google username and/or password previously set up on the device by you or previous owner (contact previous owner) or contact Google directly and get the Google account sorted out.

Alas it is virtually impossible to do a hard reset to my phone as it is technically not powered off; it's stuck in a really annoying loop of restarting itself, failing, and restarting itself again, failing, and so on. Any tips and/or advice? I can't even tell what's going on with that thing. Anything suggestions that involve software on that phone are nullified as it can barely get past the lock screen before killing itself again. Can't even optimise apps.

The issue that you could be having is what is called an LG Loop problem. A lot of LG phone have a hardware issue that cause the phone to continuously reboot....henceforth...the term LG Loop Problem. (Google it) There is no cheap easy fix. Might be time to look at getting another phone.

Once you perform a Hard Reset to your phone, it resets it back to factory default settings. Then you will need to go through the setup procedure just like you bought a new phone and unbox for the first time.

I have been transfered an LG Pro Premier LTE. I just don't understand that after I did a factory recovery, I connected to a Wifi connection as it asked, but then it asked me to verify the PIN CODE. I think reset the phone back to the factory status will erase everything including the PIN code set before. Please help me to solve this problem. Thank you!
