@@stefankatic1337 at what point does it start to become overcomplicating things just for the sake of it though? If having a thousand layers for your kick is what you're into then thats sick but it doesnt mean that it's totally necessary. Necessary is just whatever sounds good to you.

well if you do it like Julien then you get a solid bassdrum, but nothing special. if you listen to a pro‘s mix then you find pure cleanness and power in all aspects and that you do not achieve by going in like julien with a harsh stretegy. u must be a detailed freak
