Great video! This still works and so far hasn't been patched. However, for people who are trying to do this for the GTS trades in Pokemon Home, do NOT bother. The people who are doing this are trolls as it is physically impossible to trade lvl 1-10 Pokemon that are fully evolved/evolved/legendary/mythical/special. The GTS system will recognize that the evolved Pokemon(or any of the other types listed before) have to be at a certain level. So, it will just give you a communication error stating you cannot trade that Pokemon, which means everything you went through was pointless. AVOID trades that have like a Mewtwo and the person wants a Raquayza at a lvl 1-10. It will never happen. It is untradeable. Literally just there to show off. This is just a heads up to anyone so they don't go wasting their time. This is still a neat process getting a low level evolved Pokemon, even though its pretty useless.

03/05/2020 still works, here’s a tip if your game keeps crashing for the final evolution, dont use the egg, take out the egg and put it in the box, keep the first lvl 1 drakloak and put it under the lvl 59 drakloak and then try the glitch again. I recommend you rename the lvl 1 drakloak.

Make sure you dont have any other pokemon in your party after the egg. And keep holding down "A" until the egg starts hatching.

@@samuelwiebe3450 GalacticElliot explains it best it's kind of hard to explain over text but I'll do my best. 1. Make sure the pokemon you are giving the rare candy evolves from leveling up. - (For example a Toxel evolves into Toxitricity a at level 30. So you would give the Toxel a rare candy at level 29.) Make sure you only have ONE rare candy in your bag. - (If you have more you can sell them or give them to other pokemon to hold while you are doing this. They are easy to get in raids so I just sold mine.) 3. Make sure you have the egg placed underneath the original pokemon you want to evolve. Make sure there are no other pokemon underneath your egg as the game gets confused and will crash. - (For example put the Toxel egg UNDER the level 29 Toxel in your party. ) 4. Go into your bag and select the rare candy. When it asks you which pokemon you want to use it on select the desired pokemon - (In this case it's the lvl 29 toxel) 5. Once is says the pokemon starts receiving the xp HOLD the A button and HOLD the down key pad on the bottom of the left switch controller. - (Keep holding until the egg starts to hatch) I hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions. 😊
