Hurry up! I breed Medaka in un heated water in Southern Spain. The water is now 19 degrees C. When it reaches 22C they will start to breed, then I have a few months til it gets too warm! @@Medaka_Momiji

Hi! So if I live in a tropical country (28-31C all year round), what is your best recommendation for getting medaka eggs! I currently have 2 issues 1) My tank is planted heavily with lots of floating plants so it's hard to find the eggs after the medaka places them somewhere in the tank. In the morning I always see eggs but after some time they are all gone and i can only find 1 or 2 eggs stuck to my plants every few days 2) How to best hatch the eggs, I want to try the chlorine method, so using the formula, estimated 8 days, when do I switch from chlorine to dechlorinated water. Also, when I switch water, do I use my old tank water, or just dechlorinate the tap? Which is better if I just want to put medaka back into my current tank as I am not breeding for money, but for myself. Thank you so much!

I think one of the solution is to change water frequently😊 As far as I researched, it's also good to put salt into water. 5%(1L for 0.5g salt) It's also good for medaka health resolution✨
