My solution for this was jailbreaking lol. There's this tweak called SnowBoard that basically allows to do the same thing (and you can download full theme sets as well!!), but it takes you directly to the app instead of going through a different app (Shorcuts etc,). also you still get the icon badges as well. The only issue with it that I can think of rn is that currently theres no stable jb for ios 14. but you could try downgrading (i dont fully know how this works lol so idk if thats even possible with ios 14)

As someone who owned an android phone for several years, i feel you. I used to get teased for having an android and hating so many things about my phone in specific. My dad isn’t a fan of apple and would refuse to buy me an iPhone whenever i asked. After years of waiting and waiting, an offer for an iPhone popped up. My mom also wanted a new phone so the offer worked perfectly. We got a buy one get one free offer and all i had to do was change phone numbers. My phone was basically free. All you gotta know is, it’ll feel like something will never happen..but it will. Just give it time. I love you android users!💕
