Hi I'm Paul and welcome to our 15 boat ( but maybe 19)boat dinghy cruise around South Moreton Bay in Queensland. A 10 hour drive north for the Sydney Raiders. We saw whales, dugongs and dolphins and met some fantastic people. This is what I love about dinghy cruising. Thanks for watching, please hit that like button, subscribe or leave a comment....I will reply and also watch part 2 for even more fun, thanks.

Well edited video as usual Paul. Nice to see the deep north. The 'aber' name of the Vivier boat is a Breton word meaning inlet or river mouth. It's the same in Cornish and Welsh. Inver is the Goidelic cognate (Irish / Scots Gaelic). Pronounced Abb-erh in Cornish n Welsh. May see you on a raid after Xmas with one of the rarer Welsfords

Next year I retire and the plan is to buy a Waarschip 570. 18 ft and a bit, wood. Plenty info and pics on the internet. Loads of people with Dutch roots in Australia. I wonder if you , or one of your mates, have spotted them down there.

Thx for sharing the raid. Who makes the map book shown around 8:00 mins in and do they make them for the USA? I checked out Afloat in a Wooden Boat Sailing's channel and latest video...very nice boats! Just finished your video...very well done! Looks like some great friends, boats, and memories! I'm heading to the coast for what will probably be the final sail of the season on my Alcort Sunfish. Weather prediction looks pretty good! Around 70 degrees F and winds 10 to 15. Looking forward to next weeks video!

The charts book is called 'Beacon to Beacon' cruising Queensland waters but I have no idea if they make a US version. Send me a photo of you boat when you hit the water fair winds, cheers Paul
