Wtf. The US had to fend of the fucking Great Depression. It also didn't have a fully State owned industry like the Soviet Union, who were able to just fuck on any private demands (also being the primary target of Germany + having a direct border forced the Ussr to Focus harder on Military production). And even then, your comparisons are still strange. Yes the Ussr may have outproduce the USA on tanks and weapons. You all still don't count the tons of ships the USA built, constructions that need a ton of industrial power. They also fought against Germany since 42 (Op. firetorch and since 43 in Italy) and also against Japan in the Pacific.

Germany should never have oil issues if they have Romania puppeted through the focus tree. I tested this in single player and between having 12 capital ships, 60 light ships, 50 subs, 10k air force and 6 million men in the army, 1.5 million of which were fuel using troops, I never went below 3/4 oil. This was in mid 1942 before I had reached Baku. You can also directly lend lease fuel now too. The Dutch actually have a very good supply as well, as you can use focuses to bump Curacao up to over 100 oil easily. The USA is always going to have all the world's oil, that's just how it was at the time, Texas and California have pretty much the same oil production as the rest of the World combined. In order to fix their oil issues Italy now HAS to win Africa and push into Arabia/Iraq (which was the historical objective as well.) The navy aspect is also a lot more balanced overall; and generally the focus should be more on modernizing existing ships rather than building more (though build some obviously.) The reason Italy's Destroyers got rekt by Tommy here is that the default ones are shit and need to be modernized. The base British Destroyers have better fire control, guns and torps. Japan should also be considering heading into the Soviets more often in order to take Siberian oil. I'd suggest to play each major in single player and test out their new strengths and weaknesses to be honest. The new mechanics are all pretty balanced except for a couple focuses and the fuel disparity (but that can be overcome.)
