Great video! I’ve been following Lucy and Ember, and LOVE that there was such a difference in Ember immediately with the D ring, and the Reese (sp?) knew immediately that the loose ring snaffle wasn’t the way to go. I’m going to look for pro bit fitters here in my area for some help.

You need extremely steady hands to ride in a loose ring, a steady even contact. An egg but or D ring is much more stable for a fussy mouth with a rider who can’t maintain a steady contact - Trust bits are awesome

Good video. Its important to show how bits are an integral part of the horses bridle. A correctly sized bit made of flexible rubber will fit comfortably in the horses mouth.

What was the outside bit?

was it just me or did this bit still not look great for this horse? his mouth is still open and he isn't relaxing down--- i would think they would need to try a few bits before picking the right one.

That was not a D-ring in the end (outdoors), that was a much sharper one.
