Here's another healer tip: If for whatever reason you should find yourself with a stack arrow and the rest of your party far enough away that they'll never reach you in time, pick your least favorite DPS and "Rescue" them to your position. Because no one should die alone. (This might not work on BLM, NIN, or RDM if you time it too early).

I'm a whm main and holy shit the amount of poor tanks I've had to see chase healers in dungeons when I'm DPS is so painful. They follow you, you will take more damage the more they agro but the tank can't reach you or the enemies if you are running AWAY. Bring them to the tank. Even if the tank is bad and doesn't notice the agro on you, the enemies following you will get into their aoe and they'll grab agro anyway.

As a controller user I have always clicked on the party list as well. I've been doing that since the game launched. All it requires is to press up or down on the D-Pad. It's just so much easier than erratically moving the camera around to individually see everyone's health bars. Plus, if their names are grayed out then it's an easy indicator that they're way too damn far away or otherwise unavailable.
