Gotta say man your critical analysis of music is impressive. Don't listen to HEYLOG but it's clear you have an eye for the details. Nice tutorial.

dope video, love heylog def my favorite artist and producer out right now. Curious on if you do any additional coupling with the sampler and the previous audio file? I see your playing both the audio and the midi from the sampler so I'm confused, I guess what I'm asking is if your audio being activated by the midi or are you just playing both at the same time?
@JNABS2 жыл бұрын
Hey thank you so much for the support! What part are you referencing specifically? I just want to make sure so I can give the best answer possible

@@itsxseed O yeah that whole process is kind of confusing. I played a bunch of parts on the guitar, chopped them up, then put them together. I bounced all of those individual parts using a resampling track to make them a single loop. I then dragged that into the ableton sampler and messed with that pitch amplitude setting I showed. Once I played the sample the sample with those settings the way I I liked, I bounced that to audio as the final loop. Hopefully that answers your question, let me know if you need me to explain further!

Doesn't log use a lot of lower harmonies too? Like 2 that are 5 notes above and 2 that are 5 notes below plus one thats 3 or 2 notes above. (Which is super saturated) At least i think his voice sounds like chords sometimes
