I was offered a modeling job over the past weekend. I said yes and showed up with my beautiful, long hair curled and styled. After a few pictures my outfit and make up was switched and they asked if they could cut my hair. It had been about 3 years since my last cut (I’ve had some trims, but nothing over 1 inch) I said sure, and before I knew what happened... my hair was ruined. I now have medium length hair, shagged with bangs. I have no idea what went through that stylist’s brain, but it looks terrible. Worst part is: I have my high school senior photo shoot this weekend. I never cry over hair, but I have been because I just hate it now. This video really helped me come up with some styles for my pictures. Be warned... shaggy hair styles with bangs look good on very few people. I look like a mom in the 80s who’s trying to be hip and in with the kids.

Ahh, all the hairstyles you can do with a nice, even hairline and a normal sized forehead. :D If you have a weird hairline, high temples and a large forehead, bangs are pretty much the only solution... :)

i asked my mom to cut my bangs last summer and they looked amazing up until i washed them, they were wavy and just not it. however my high forehead made me feel self conscious so i found myself going back to bangs multiple times, during my process of growing them out, i ended up asking my mom to cut them multiple times. they're hell to care for, make my forehead look bigger bc they go back if yk what i'm saying, they fucking itch like crazy and i always have long strands of hair in with my bangs that drive me nuts. they make my forehead greasy etc and i was finally growing them out until in june i got bored and cut them again. this time cutting them to thick. now these damn bangs curl and mess up every hairstyle i do, and i just want to go bald at this point. psa for anyone attempting to get bangs, don't do it, it's never a perm thing it's always temporary. bangs will make you look younger and in some cases older. they're hell to care for.
