Have you ever wondered how to hide Facebook posts from certain friends? I always assumed that you couldn't hide Facebook posts from certain friends. I thought anything you posted everyone could see. But Facebook has an easy and build in way to hide posts from some friends.
In this video we are going over how to create lists of Facebook friends so you can segment your Facebook posts. Once you add your friends to lists you will be able to hide posts from certain people or send posts to everyone but them.
This is a great method for anyone who wants to use Facebook for personal reasons and also wants to use Facebook for business. You will be free to hide your Facebook posts from who ever you want.

Great tip here. That just saved me a ton of work. Also, I started with the left side bar drop down for friends. Then created the new list right there and when I did it asked who I wanted to add. So you dont have to add everyone individually just pick from your list. Super helpful video man. Thanks you

Serious question: When I omit certain friends or post "friends except" will it send a notification to those I didn't omit? Lately when I post "friends except" and leave people out, I get an inordinate amount of people who respond, leading me to believe it is sending them a notification for my post.

Thank you. Question: When you choose "Friends Except", does it prevent people from sharing your post? For instance, if I want to exclude my immediate family from seeing a post, but I want other people to see AND SHARE the post, is that possible? I "think" (not sure though) that "Friends Except" removes the Share button from your post.

Unfortunately, you would have to do them all individually which would be a real pain in the butt. I had a lot of things that I wanted to keep but I didn't want them to be visible anymore, so I just created a new Facebook account and added my old friends to it. Then block everybody on the old account so they can't see anything. That's the way I did it anyway.
