Let's hide specific posts from some of your friends on Facebook if you prefer certain people not see your posts.

I'm fairly adept with computers and software but trying to find basic settings on Facebook is an annoyingly unintuitive process. The problem gets compounded if you switch between mobile app and desktop website as I do, because they don't always agree with each other.

Yes i did that always but there are specific person on my friends list that is not appearing when i dont like them to see my post :(

I commented here a month ago...but what I found out is you have to use a desktop/laptop or login your FB on browser instead of using the app. The people that were not showing up when I used mobile, showed up when I tried logging in to my laptop, then used Chrome browser.

As someone else rightly commented, and KZbin agrees, it has to be done on a laptop or computer! So, if they think they've got 'one on you', just go on your laptop and give them a 'taste of their own medicine'!!!😅😅

Now I know my friend use to use this to bullying me with her post so other missionary don't see it but me.She bullys me by comparing me to her new friends and makes fun of fun i eat back in our country well she eats good food in that country.This hurt so much and now I am trying to block her but she is my friend 😢.Just feel so betrayed.I am Michelle Koete I say no to bullying.

I'm not sure! But, I think you can hide your old post from friends, but you can't hide post that from someone that you already agreed to share with originally. But, if you no longer want people to see a post you already shared to them, just change the audience, 'for me only' !

I notice that if you except a friend, then your mutual friends like or commentson your post, that friend you except sees your post that your mutual friends liked and commented.

I'm the admin of a group and post a lot of events. Is there a way for some members not to see certain events? I wouldn't want to block them or suspend them, just I wouldn't want them to see some events. Thanks

Can you do the same with a profile picture? To where they would just see the last one. I mean if you obviously are trying to hide your post from someone, you may want to hide your profile picture also.

What about a blank post that you can like but can't see the content. I actually posted **blank* in the box to alert the person. I saw it unsure if they did. Might just be hid from me? But then why would I see it and be able to like it. 🤔

Doesn't show them anything even when they search, cz it says that (ur post will show up in feed, on ur profile and in search results)?!!

If you hide your post from specific friends that you can see on your friend's list! Then they definitely won't see it! If I post a prayer image, I hide it from two particular friends. Because, they always make rude comments and jokes about people who believe in God!!!! Although they are nice people, I just try to avoid conflict with anyone.

When one has a large list of friends, they don't like the same things, so youII target certain post to certain people. Google says: When some people tightened their security of Facebook, it's difficult to hide your post from them, The Hide From No Longer Works!

I think I might have phrased my first question incorrectly! When I looked at my friends list, certain people's names are on my friends list, but when I try to hide my post from these people, their names don't show. There must be a way of hiding your post from people who you don't want to share your post with! They are able to stop you hiding your post from them, what can I do, apart from resorting to block them? I asked this question on Google, and the answer I got was that certain people are able to do that: prevent you from hiding post from them, whereas they can hide theirs from you. 'All that happens is when your press, hide from, their names don't appear,you only see it when you are looking at your friends list, but you can't hide your post from them, unless you block them!

@@Nasrin77777 By using a laptop or computer and putting someone on a restricted list. When this happens, you can no longer hide your post from that person who put you on: Restricted List! But, perhaps you can do the same to that person on your laptop! Google gives an example as to how easy it is! I'll try and find the link. If I'm able to find it, I'll paste it here!

@@marysebastian758what about if I blocked a person from seeing some posts but a mutual of ours comments on the post, will they see that they’re blocked from seeing my posts? Sometimes other mutual friends (who aren’t blocked) can see when a mutual has commented on a post.
