I tried thid on my birthday deep wave wig and it came out so pretty. I reccomned! I used blue bleach packets(2) and 20 volume developer. I did not use toner but purple shampoo and left on for 10 minutes

Thank you. Honestly both ways are fine . If you decided to fold the hair over , just be sure to saturate it all the way .
