I think your travelling videos are the most intriguing because you capture the most beautiful landscapes and phenomenons for us to see that are very well filmed.

Amazing video work! We do a lot of overnight backpacking up in the local mountains of Los Angeles but we never bring our food bags inside our tents. 😮 I’ve seen too many bears over the years here. Stay safe.. 😊

This video is really well made and enjoyable to watch: I just wonder if the process of documenting and filming all each stage of the walk/journey would actually detract from the overall enjoyment of the experience?

Not bringing camera equipment would lighten my load by more than 3 kg and allow me to walk further and faster. However, capturing my mountaineering as a visual record is also something I enjoy, so I don't find it burdensome at all.

im moving to Japan next year, and even though I know there is so much nature I am worried I won't be able to camp. (properly camp not stay at a family camp ground). Does anyone have experience with this? How do you find spots?

it'll be great when drone cameras are of a high enough quality that you'll be able to use them for these shots and not have to walk back to get the camera 😅
