Funny story: So we visited this scenic splendor just this past weekend by pure and sheer happenstance. We were traveling to see The Gorge and to do a little wine tasting in nearby Goldendale and whomp......there it was!!! I darned near crashed my car while glancing up but it should go without stating that this waterfall was enough to bring highway traffic to a screeching halt. From the highway this obstruction magically appears like something sent directly from the Heavens!!! The entire day passed and despite all of the beauty that I went on to view throughout its course, my mind simply wouldn't rest until I located this single one waterfall. I now know that the area consists of a good 80 in total!!! Your footage is spectacular!! Of course I/we didn't encompass time enough to fully explore as we'd liked to... Thank you for such an in depth depiction of God's splendor. Until we're enabled time enough to visit once more, we'll just have to live vicariously through your prowess.

I have been to the falls. My dream is to one day return. I think it is one of the most beautiful place or Father made. Thank you so much for this video. I'm 75 and may never be able to revisit this awesome spot. But your video made it possible for me to revisit. It is fantastic. Please continue making videos. Thank you so much.

Went here 3 years ago, it was pretty cool and we visited due to family while it was pretty cold! Some ice was building up around there due to the mountain blocking the sunlight. I still have this cool hoodie from then that still fits me. great experience

ED: you did a fine job of videoing the Multnomah Falls and saving my octogenarian legs from a trek that they are no longer able to do! Thank you for the great "sales job" of making the whole experience one I'd love to go on if I wore a younger man's shoes. Thanks to you, I have been on a virtual hike to the top of the falls.

We went here in 2016…it’s stunning! Standing at the base looking up at this beautiful falls was just amazing. Then hiking to the top looking down at the two tiered Falls is breath taking!! We took all kinds of videos and photos but being there is so fun!! The food in the restaurant was great too! There are also smaller falls all around that area that are not full of tourists or developed. Absolutely worth stopping here!! I heard the big fire that swept along the river not long after we were there destroyed a lot of forests;( I’m so thankful to of seen this before the fire. I also heard after it was opened to the public following the fire there was a fee to go to the falls. Not sure if this is true though. But well worth going for the day!! Thank you for your videos!
@EDDvlogs3 жыл бұрын
Oh wow, I did not know of that fire, very interesting insight! In regards to the other waterfalls, there is one specific one (forget the name) where you have to cross a section inundated by water, the water is FREEZING cold, so your body goes into shock as it adapts, then you get to an amazing waterfall at the end :o :D And I have to agree with you, this place is so beautiful and would recommend everyone to visit.
@JulesUS83863 жыл бұрын
@@EDDvlogs yeah we went to that one too. One is so steep. Not sure it has a name. There’s no trails. We climbed up holding onto trees lol. I love that part of the country. I live in Dallas area. So that part of the country is very different. Here’s a link about the fire in 2017. There are many other articles about it. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eagle_Creek_Fire Another thing that I found beautiful was Astoria where ‘Kindergarten Cop’ was filmed. The unusual flowers, trees, and shrubs throughout the city on the bay there were from soldiers bringing them over after the war from Japan. Very beautiful.
