Great job! Love Wahkeena falls so much. Live in Gresham for many years so visit the gorge often. Because I’m older and I have had two hip replacements, not to mention I need to lose a few pounds, lol, I’ve only taken the hike to the Bridge, but I’ve done that on many occasions and it’s a nice little mini workout. I loved watching you venture into areas that I may never get to see. I wish I had people in my life that enjoy doing these sorts of things and I could learn to get better at hiking. In the meantime I’m really grateful for videos such as this one because it allows me to have a glimpse at what I missing because I love it so true. Thanks again and continued safe & happy hiking!!!

We just did this this past weekend and went to the vista point and we were the only people on that stretch which was refreshing and the view from there was truly spectacular.

I remember wishing I could get further away from Wahkeena Falls for a better camera shot, nice to see it from the drones point of view. Great footage as usual, thanks!

Holy F dude, you're in Oregon! Welcome. I love the Wahkeena Loop. It's funny, I left CO without ever summiting a 14er and have been watching your videos ever since. I hope to return someday for some real climbing. But seeing you do a hike in my backyard is unreal haha. I hope you're enjoying/you enjoyed your stay 🤙

Thanks Joshua - wife and I had a quick trip here a month back during your heat wave. I’ve posted a few other videos from here (hood, drift creek falls) and have a few more coming. Even with the heat, we LOVED our time there and can’t wait to come back for more!

How much time it takes from Wahkeena to Multnomah ?
@TheVirtualsherpa2 жыл бұрын
I would give yourself an hour or two at a pretty leisurely pace. If you didn't want to hike the whole loop, its about 15 minutes from each parking area to both waterfalls.

US Forest Service: "Drones are prohibited in the Mark O. Hatfield Wilderness area to preserve the wilderness experience for both people and animals." This guy: "Fuck it."

All shots used with the drone where not in the Wilderness area: www.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=a415bca07f0a4bee9f0e894b0db5c3b6 Also just made a video talking about responsible drone use: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5yTnY2hjM50g9k but appreciate the comment with absolutely no context of the channel.

I mean, they're even banned on the Wahkeena trail itself...
