@ jr10ch no that's mainly for baseball, but with softball it's most important to keep your knuckles in line, so if u can keep your knuckles in line and it's more comfortable for you to put your elbow up then go ahead, but it's definitely not necessary

It's okay! Be encouraged!! I'm in softball training and I'm nervous if I won't get picked, but it's okay!! When you play, you wear a helmet and a mouth-piece. And remember, it's okay to miss the ball once or twice. No one's perfect! :)

She is just repeating what others have told her through the years...knocking knuckles at this level-wow! And yes, I agree with those that have said the elbows are too close together. Only in softball...there was no stride. And the most over used, incorrect saying-"hands inside the ball". Barrel inside the ball is more appropriate. The hands will always be inside the ball, or the player will get hit, but the barrel can cast out an d wrap out around the ball.

Keeping your weight back is correct. You want your weight transferred into the ball. not your front leg. Weight shift is old school swinging.

after using a batting T for years i would disagree with what you are teaching.. the T needs to be way up in front to generate power. your back arm should also be straight at impact and not a wrist breaking kind of swing otherwise you hit a lot of pulled fowls.

not a great swing. not enough hip rotation as evidenced by her failurre to get up on the back toe and bring her left knee to her right knee- there is almost a 180 angle of her left knee-- practically striaght = bad., and she gets the bat on plane with the pitch way too late as the initial part of her swing is "down", mainly becasue at heel plant her hands are just way too high. Swinging down like this is not what MLB players do at all. It is just a shame that so many coaches in softball just blindly teach what they used to do as players 20 and 30 years ago. This stuff is prevalent in Florida,
