I have to give you credit for helping me with my game. I only watch a select few people on you tube, you are one of them. I shot in the 80s the other day. I never shot below 100. EVER! Love your energy.

Maaaaaannnnnn this is year 3 for me watching Mr. SG and last year doesn't really count but since I've seen this guy I broke 40 in 9 holes 🕳️ I was always close but my average was 45 Now my average is 41 and I except that number to drop a few more strokes nbs My Drive has improved 75% of fairways and 20 yards longer now I want to learn to turn the screw My short game is so much better within 60 yards I can get within 20ft with consistency My goal is to Break 80 this year folks are asking how often do I practice and who have I been taking lessons with I am right lipped but it's been all Mr SG Gonna get some alignment stick covers Thank you Mr SG

Hey Matt, I tried this flop shot twice today, and it worked to perfection. Staying low is the key. I was three feet or so from the pin on both occasions. My playing partners were very impressed. Me too! Many thanks for all your help!
@marks.Landing4 жыл бұрын
Wow you make it sound so very very simple and only a very small amount of key components to achieve, your explanation is very achievable, unlike most coaches and their stupid amounts of key points to hit in one movement, you are good at what you do, cheers Mark from down under

Man this was so entertaining. I’m sincere saying that. As I sit here super stoned, I have learned many tips to try to improve my short game, I have laughed my ass off over and over again, and I’ve found my new favorite KZbinr. Man you keep it real! A flop shot for “us”. I love it. You are very relatable and I’ll definitely be watching more of your stuff. Thanks for the video!

I've been trying to add the flop shot to my arsenal this year, with limited success. Today I used this technique and what a difference it made. As a bonus I was able to show off to my playing partner with my amazing new skill.

What a difference a day makes 😄😄 took the 60 yard routine to the course for the first time today. Man alive, I shot 76 gross, 5 over for my course playing of a 14.! My buddies didn't know what was going on. I finally figured out what I have been doing wrong, and did it right. Thank you so much 😄😄🍺🍺

I've had trouble with short shots out of heavy rough ( lots of that on my course ) to short sided pins ( mostly where I miss it seems ) for years. Watched this video and then tried it out the next day on the practice green. Worked as advertised so I took it to the course that day and it helped me save a nice par on a long tough par 5. Thanks for showing us how to make this shot and for making the set up and mechanics simple and clear. Your site is one of 2 that I watch regularly. Mostly because you are clear in what you're showing and focus on the details that help me make better shots and scores without needless details that cloud the instruction.

OMG, I've never had a new shot work to perfection the first time I tried it ... and the next 30 times! No skulls, fat shots, etc. I'm an upper 80's shooter too. The setup felt awkward as hell. Thought I'd skull the cover off the ball. WORKED GREAT!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I had no 10 - 15 yard shot over a bunker ... do now! Thanks!!!

Thank you! Trying to learn the Phil Phlop has taken so long and I get it right about 15% of the time. I stopped using it because it added more strokes than it’s worth. I suffered a chip and roll downhill. I’d rather put from the opposite fringe than be pitching a skied Phlop from 10yard off the opposite side. I’m going to add this to my game!!! Thank you

Earned my sub! Your analogies and demonstrations made it so easy to understand and visualize. Can’t wait to try this out. Only advice is maybe to think about adding time stamps to make it easy to skip through and rewatch. 3 years late but I’m definitely going to check out your other videos for tutorials. Quick question: How do you hit a flop from a much further distance? Let’s say 20-30 yards? Is it same swing but more power? Thanks!

Thanks, bud - that isn't my normal approach to either the flop or the sand shot but that looks like a great alternative to get my brain around. I can see where under varying conditions this could be added to my ATTEMPTS to get closer to the hole so I can 2 put! :):):)
