How To Hit The High Forehand

Great video! A lot of my clients want to be as aggressive as Wozniacki but hit down on it. You're showing very clearly that you still have to drop the rackethead under the ball and get rotation on the ball!

I was always taught to think somewhat of a windshield wiper motion to still have a decent topspin forehand for high rising balls!

She uses semiwestern / western grip. Is hitting a ball at this position still possible with eastern forehand? I guess this one by Federer is kind of Easternish: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4XNk3WBYteBbsU Still cannot take it as high as Woz did here.

The grip can adjust for higher balls. If you are having issues with high balls look to hit the inside of ball, across the ball. This usually helps if you hit with an eastern grip. You could also adjust your grip to more of a semi eastern grip. Thanks for your comment! JF
