Great video, this will help me a lot since I get shoulder pain from smashing.. Thanks! By the way: I read it differs per racket brand if 3k is harder/softer than for example 12k. For Nox the 18k is harder than the 12k, which in it's turn is harder than their 3k :)

Again great video. I do have a question about the hardness of the racket. You mentioned 3k is harder than 12k, however, when looking up the difference between the Nox at10 12k vs Nox at10 18k earlier they mentioned 18k has a harder surface. This is contradictory to what you mentioned. Do you know if this depends on the brand or is standard for all brands that the less xK the harder?
@easybuckets442
@easybuckets442 Жыл бұрын
I think he has it the wrong way around aswell. 3k rackets are soft, the Adidas metalbone HRD is one of the hardest around and that's 24k

Well, everybody has a different opinion. Its a very good question. I spoke about it with many people. Shop owners, factories. With tactical padel, 3K is harder. With other brands, they might put more carbon into the racket. Some rackets are cheaper, because they put in 51% carbon and 49% glassfiber. The more expensive ones -> 70/30 for instance. With tactical padel we are testing with a lot of rackets, all 100% carbon. Only way too feel the difference

Good video, but according to the definition, 18K carbon is thicker than 3K, so, YES, it can make the blade feel a little harder, since the thickness is thicker and this will make it flex a little less. So if you have the same rubber, a 24k carbon blade will be harder than an 18k one, and this will be harder than a 3k blade.

For everything that is not directly related to the weight of the racket, you should ask badminton players about smash : 'cause bad has the most fast, powerful and different smashes among racket sports
@OtroNivelPadel
@OtroNivelPadel 6 ай бұрын
No I think its completely different in badminton. I don’t think you can use tips from that sport
@jardinierpotaverger

@@OtroNivelPadel all that is not related to the weight of the racket is to be worked one way or another. Like changing feet between before and after the smash. Being quite high in badminton and ex pro national player in squash, improving in padel has made me not to take 100% granted what comes from native padel or tennis players. Just like in badminton where they (until top100 french players) don't understand how I can smash so hard in backhand.. or have so accurate parallèle shots

Be careful with the pala choice, for most brands, the more « K » on carbon, the harder. I believe it is the opposite way for Siux, the more K, the softer.
