Hey nice video, helped me a lot. I'm Hispanic and I like Chinese culture from small few months ago I came across this tutorial yours first then buy a few simple bambo chopsticks and three months ago pot spoon and started to use chopsticks to eat all kinds food, with your help today and use to perfection today use some Chinese Carved Dragon Ethnicities Stylish bamboo wood chopsticks are more difficult to use as they are very slippery but with perseverance and your help achieve it. That way I would say take paillos is perhaps the most elegant to be the more appropriate I think the jente not try because it is difficult ... so I mean you grew up eating is natural for you to many people taking chopsticks so it is impossible. With your help I achieved yea

I think if you apply more pressure with the base of your thumb to it, this should work: like hold the inner stick in between the ring finger and thumb base.

+Naomi Colorado nothing's wrong with you... I'll tell you how i practiced incessantly: when i started a few years ago, with terrible grips, i picked up peanuts with them (XD don't judge me)... Like one after the other.... Continuously,... Got a bit of laughter from my siblings cause they'd see a weird kid watching tv while eating peanuts using chopsticks. But honestly I was at it for at least half an hour. By the next day, i had my own type of grip which was convenient for me although it looked like i was killing my fingers. But hey, i could pick up food really well by then... After that, i practiced my way a long time. And now I'm watching this video to see the said "proper" way... It became really easier to fix my grip in minutes since now i have a better understanding of how to manage the fingers.... So just find a grip that'll help you pick up food.... And practice for quite a time nonstop.... You'll get it quickly (And fact: peanuts are hard to pick... Like really hard) GoodLuck!

Took me years to figure this one out - before KZbin came along that is. Rice is usually sticky (short-grain rice) so you pick up lumps of it. If you have to eat small bits that don't stick in lumps, you just raise your bowl to your mouth and scoop the food in with the chopsticks. Watch some Chinese or Japanese movies, there are plenty of examples out there.

@rayanelouhichi279 жыл бұрын
Yay!! Nailed it first try ... but I had to use my middle finger to support the second stick which was on the bottom ...
@gammondog9 жыл бұрын
Rayane Louhichi You need that middle finger to be on the underside of the upper stick were it is used to raise (open) it. The bottom stick should be clutched in the crook between your thumb and index fingers and supported near the tip by the ring finger. Most people tuck the pinky underneath the ring finger. Try starting out by placing the high end of that stick in the crook where the middle crease in your palm cuts above the web. A little higher up and closer to the base of the index finger. Also extend the ring/pinky fingers a little further away from the palm in the hand. This will make the base line between those two support ends longer giving you more stability. It's a matter of experimentation but when you free up that middle finger to do its' job on the upper stick you will have more grasping power. This will eliminate any muscle fatigue on your hand muscles. Good luck and above all, make all your practice sessions fun.

swoons over when pincstuff smiles towards the end. I think it should be "gaup yeh sic" rather than "ling yeh sic". i thought it was funny when you used that at first.
