Love the vids Andy … a great one that I think many would be appreciated is breaking a pole down when bringing a carp in from 13m /16m … I often feel I’m likely to damage my pole trying to unship 2 or tree sections at once with a big fish darting around … that’s for all the great tips over the years 👍

Ive always struggled to loose feed when fishing the long pole, perhaps i have my seat box too high gonna give this a try next time im on the bank, great tutorial 👍🏻

Great instructional video Andy, like you say practice makes perfect when it comes to hooking and landing fish. Most modern seatboxes make it so much easier now for getting your position right for holding a pole compared to when I started pole fishing and used a shakespeare box

I have an old style box and use jubilee clips on the legs so that my seat is in the correct position once i've setitup

I actually prefer rod and reel i do own a pole 🤔🤔 crappy maver reality margin thing but with rod n reel your hands are free to have a brew
