Great video! As a bass guitar player for 30+ years, I just bought my first upright bass a few days ago so this content is exactly what I needed. Finger style came naturally, even though it took a couple of days to acclimate to the fingerboard scale from my fretless Fender PJ, but general playing has been progressing smoothly … except for the bow. It came with one so I naturally thought I’d dive right in. It was tougher than I predicted. As a middle school teacher, I was fortunate enough to have access to our strings teacher who graciously made me a few short tutorials and then sent me some links to get me started. She has her kids (and now me) do your Tip 2 at 2:20 that she calls “Windshield Wiper” as well as your final bonus tip, The Spider Crawl. As a sports coach, I really like the “writing your name” and reverse the weight workouts for strength and dexterity. Both wonderful for jump starting a player. Keep up the great work and I’m looking forward to the next thing you have to teach that I didn’t know I needed to know. ✌️😉🔥

These are great! Loving the clarity and simplicity of how you describe technique. Thanks for putting time into this!
