Hey, do you think you can help me with something? So, a few months ago I followed you guide on how to home brew the Wii. Everything worked just fine. A few days later I downloaded some themes and I guess I downloaded a few too many themes and it caused my Wii to be semi bricked. It works but there's a black screen and the only way to play games now is to load that loader menu or whatever it's called. Is there a way to fix my Wii? If so, do you think you can help? If it's not too much to ask.

After changing the dns thing it ran the test fine but 2-3 seconds after it confirmed the connection it told me my system files are corrupted. How do I fix this?

I had homebrew 1.1.2 I factory reset the Wii and did this and it was super easy also I had a version of wiiflow very old not like the ones from the videos I saw now and I dint remember how to use any of that now I am going to see how to install something to pay the game I downloaded.

How do i do this when i already have my connection's DNS settings changed to use Wiimmfi? Do i temporarily change the DNS settinga to get Homebrew, and then switch them back so i can still use Wiimmfi?

updates will just look for unsigned software like homebrew, so you should never update unless you know it's 100% safe with custom firmware

Most of the problems are because of the part of DNS. I suggest going back to the video and doing all the steps very carefully. Something similar happened to me. At first, it frozen. When I went to the "agreement" part, an error happened because I forgot o fo back and change the DNS settings as suggested by the video.

Your WiFi is probably too new for the Wii try connecting the Wii to your phones hotspot instead tell me if this helped!

After you have the actual homebrew channel, it doesn't matter if you disconnect or change internet since you don't need it anymore. You just need the internet to run the exploit
