I have a 2004 Honda CRV-EX. Had it coded today for all 4 ignition coils going out. Those were the only codes. Replaced those and the spark plugs. Im also have an issue with RPM drop out. It starts fine in park, warm or cold, drives fine, even when stopped, but when put back in park after driving, the RPMS fall out and sometimes recovers or sometimes stalls the engine out. Any thoughts?

I have this idle problem in my 2006 it started when I was reving it alot in the McDonald's drive threw because these customers made me mad and my car was literally hot going over the H symbol and it started reving up and down. Me and my friend tried buying a new throttle because we thought maybe the sensor wasn't working and it was still making the problem. We tired cleaning the throttle valve with throttle body cleaner but it would still make the problem happen. He sent me this video this morning this is our last option and hopefully the component doesn't move like I saw in your video. If it doesn't move then you have saved me hundreds on buying a new transmission !

@@MH-nu4ip well the problems fixed now. the guy I bought it from fixed it cause it was litteraly a pain to find out the cars problem 🤦🏻♂ i think it had to do with the senors. I had to buy a new accelarator which was like 2 bills 😤 im not sure. But now the car alternators out so the car will not start what so ever. When I try to start the car. It just doesn't make a single sound like its just silent. No clicking or anything. I just bought a new battery for my daily car so im going to test it on this one and see if its really the alternator. The older battery before the new one, I had put in this car and it started, I left it on for a few minutes and the car just turned off and died so I feel like it is the alternator.

Pls help... Surging Idle,..1991 Honda Accord EX, 4 Dr Sedan, FWD, ... I have recently refurbished most parts in Engine area, @ Professional Mechanical Shop, included below: However, aft changing these, Idle speed was surging, 1k-2K in Neutral, and surging forward at stop signs in Drive, (so had to put in Neutral at Traffic lights, annoying ..).. then changed IACV twice, AND 3 mechanics can't figure out what is wrong even after adj idle via distributor,... they have cleaned IAC also,.. Disabling IAC w Solenoid has bypassed this problem,,, I have videos, of idle speed with IAC plugged in (Surging ), and w/o plugging it in (no Surging,..),... The following were changed bef I had this problem Spark Plugs, Wires, Alternator, Starter, Belts,... Fuel Tank, Fuel Pump, some Fuel & oil Lines,.. Radiator, Condenser, Hoses, Rad Cap,.. Timing Belt & Water Pump, Tensioners Oil Pan & Gasket, Car was parked for few yrs during Covid, but before that, the Car used to drive really well, high speed was smooth, 100-120-140++ kph easy,.. smooth, quiet, normal Idle,... altho Fuel Tank & Rad had started to leak, rusting, so had bought another car, and parked this one,.. Three (3) diff experienced Mechanics have played with IAC, and have changed both IAC valves (one w Solenoid was changed 2x!), as was Fast Idle Valve, but no luck. Currently, and even before these repairs, with IAC UNPLUGGED, car feels it has enough power, and has v good acceleration for a 23 yr old car, No sputtering ! (==> so NO vacuum leak?) & (NO defective Airflow sensor?),... I have seen videos of surging problems on KZbin,.. and if anyone has any more suggestions,.. Thnx Az_99
