I’m not surprised brother. Their marketing is non-existent 😆. I stumbled upon them when they were in a Cabelas catalog years ago. You probably remember when they used to send the “Northern fisherman” edition catalogs out once in a blue moon. They would have tons of Musky and Trout/ Salmon gear that was hardly ever shown in the regular catalog. Bait buttons were in one of those catalogs and I never heard of them before🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️. I never saw them again in any catalog or video since. I had to google them to see if they still made them while posting this video. When I ordered them I got 5 packs of refills for the dispenser so I’m set for life I guess. It’s a shame, they blew it on the marketing.

Awesome to see you chasing freshwater! I use owner Muta hooks as well but size 6 to let them swim easier. My baits are usually 3-4” so the smaller hook doesn’t move as much. I don’t use the button but will start trying that. I really like your swim bait stinger hook combo

In the early winter, the stripers will break, and you can throw a small soft plastic, jig, silver buddy, etc and catch them. It's fun, but they are SUPER spooky. One boat runs through them, and they might not come back up. I've never caught a big one, most are 18-25", but it's good entertainment when it's cold, and it's 15 mins away for me.

With your skills, you will do well there. I take the kids out at night with UW lights and we net small ones and do well on slab crappie. They absolutely love it. I’ve actually never used a Hell Cat rod. I used to use the Seeker 7020’s but they were so expensive that I jumped at the chance to help CTF design their Striper Stealth rods. I already had many Seekers, but I needed an affordable rod to recommend and there just wasn’t one out there with these specific characteristics. Excellent information as always! But, isn't the law now, when targeting striped bass, circle hooks only when using bait? We used to snag and drop with big trebles, and it was always lights out. I would think any wardens checking you out would have an issue with a stinger treble. Still, awesome rig. I like the snap through the lip trick too.
