Maybe I am just late to the game. Is there a difference between baby shower gender reveal and nesting party. Are people doing all three? What is this new thing lol

People have gender reveals now! I didn't have one because I think having a party to celebrate someone's gender isn't necessary. I had a baby shower thrown for me where people brought gifts. I threw the nesting party for my friends to help me with the hands-on tasks I needed to be done. You can do all or none lol. Up to you!
