The stock wheels are 14mm so they wouldn’t fit the 17mm extenders. You could try and find 14mm extenders if you’re just looking to make it wider

Hey I'm interested in doing this conversion. I currently have badlands with 14mm hex removable adapters do you have a part number for the 17mm hex adapters needed for this conversion? The diameter will need to be bigger in the centre as mine are meant to just fit the stub axle through.

What shocks are you rolling on? Last time I was running mine I had the Redcat Kaiju shocks on the granite wind it all the way up and it was actually kind of badass... a little stiff but much better than the stock shocks once they lose fluid. I bought some Pro-Line shocks for the front and back when I'm not sure whether I'm putting it on the granite or the Typhon.

The motor may get hotter. You could add a fan and heat sink if you don’t already have one

nothing yet! i haven't driven it much lately. it seems a LITTLE more flimsy than stock but overall these tires are beastly!

I lost the center nut could I be able to buy the nuts alone or would I have to buy a whole new $35 pack of adapter just for one pin and nut?

You could get a nut from rockys or Home Depot to fit. For pins try getting creative and cutting a thick paper clip or something similar

I think you will need to swap out the input threaded area also. My Kraton 4S has different driveshafts. Something like this plus the 17mm hexes amzn.to/3qJg2jp

Hello i used the Traxxas adaptors on my senton 3s and they keep comming loose. How often do you have to re tighten the Hot Racing set up?

@@413RC the pin with the allen on it . ive loctited it and wrenched it down but after every outing atleast one or more is wobbly. I am thinking of the hot racing 17mm hubs but the smalllest offset is 5 mm and I am running duratrax six packs I may have to cut the body.

this video fails to mention that you will need the 17mm adapters for the wheels themselves. They come with 12mm which wont fit. You'll need proline part # 6336-00.

Yep and also note that your part number for 17mm hex adapters linked me to the 5mm long ones were as you have the 10mm long ones. Just an FYI. Great video that helped me out though.
