This is a great video. We’ve been doing this with our 14 week old bully. We end up being outside for a while because she gets distracted and ends up eating grass, mulch, sticks, etc. I’m starting to wonder if this is normal behavior.

I have a 14 week now blue nose i got her 2 weeks ago. I been trying to train her to go out side i will be outside with her for 30 or 40 min several times a day she will come inside and #1 or #2. Im very frustrated im with her 24/7 since day 1 i been training her she knows to sit for me when i have a treat in my hand so she definitely not dumb. I knew from my experience with Miguel - it's definitely take time! Dogs can be train potty outside, they will remember where we want them to go. We just need to repeat it as a routine. I trained Miguel to pee/poop at back yard around 7-8 days after every meal, Now he barks (or whining) 1-2 time when he want to go 👍 (he's 70 days)

I recently got a 7 week old pit female. she has not been vaccinated yet and my neighbors have several dogs a goat and chickens and rooters. i'm worried about letting her go poop or pee outside yet because i've seen the chickens walking the top of my fence. which means they can/have or do get into my yard. I'm have been using pee pads and she doesnt always poo or pee on them. I'm a first time dog owner and love my lil Lucy. tryin to be cautious with her at her young age. I have a 6 month old mini pit she is beautiful, and I love her so much. But she is a princess and doesn't like to go out if it is raining. I don't yet know how she is going to deal with SNOW. She has a bad habit of not making it out of the garage. I do like that better than in the house, but it isn't outside. She has also been out and peed on the floor anyway as if to make us mad. So, she wound up in her crate for a while. I haven't trained a puppy for a long time. Back then it was if they did go in the house, you stick their nose in it and put them outside. Now that sounds mean to me. But my old dog did seem to catch on quickly. One thing you say is have a designated spot. And we have tried to keep it dispersed as much as a small yard will allow to try to avoid burning from too much in one spot.

Overall, it took me about 3 months to get my stray 9 month old to be about 95% trained. She had no bladder hold control at all. She is now fine unless she is just playing too hard and squats in the middle of playing. It's as if the connection goes poof. I always have the door open for her too.

Dope video. You didn't really cover the owners who can't regularly take the dogs out during the day (think younger pups). I think u should do a followup to include making time to come home to them (of busy wit work), not lining the crate at all to make cleanup easier, how to crate and listen to your dog WHEN AT HOME so they get used to the crate. You'll hear the difference when they need to go out. Also, carry them to a spot where they've already peed...OR get a pee pee post (yellow) and take them to that every time. Don't beat the dog but do ALL you said in this video...added with all this. You'll be fine. #pitlover #subscriber

After Engine 3 arrived at the scene, the fireman reported, "We have a pit bull that's covered in blood here." The owner of the dog surrendered the 1-year old male pit bull to Portsmouth Animal Control, which placed the dog into a 10-day quarantine. One neighbor told reporters the family had just moved in a day or two earlier. As of March 15, the case remains under investigation.

Police were dispatched to the home after the infant's teenage brother called 911. The pit bull had been "fighting" with the family's beagle prior to attacking the infant. "The two dogs were engaged in some sort of a fight in the bedroom where the infant was staying," Lafayette Police Lt. Matt Gard said. The baby's brother was able to separate the dogs and take the beagle out of the room. When he returned, he found the pit bull had attacked the infant. An officer shot and killed the dog in order to reach the infant and begin life-saving aid. Connell was taken to a hospital, where he died. A preliminary autopsy showed the infant died from "multiple sharp force injuries" after sustaining dog bites to his head and neck, the Tippecanoe County Coroner said. The manner of death was ruled an accident. The infant's mother, Jennifer Nicole Connell, was later charged with three counts of neglect. Or this one, McKenzie Terwell, 4-months old, was mauled to death by a family pit bull while her mother was asleep on the couch. The baby died of exsanguination (bleeding) due to extensive soft tissue damage, according to Montgomery County Corner, Dr. Kent Harshberger. The manner of death was ruled an accident. On January 9, just before midnight, police were dispatched to 114 Vermont Avenue after reports of an infant not breathing. The baby's father, Parker Terwell, called 911 after he arrived home and found the infant alone lying on the floor and not breathing. Terwell said the baby's mother, Mary Shoup, was asleep on the living room sofa. Terwell informed officers that "Shoup is on prescription medication." These prescriptions included: Alprazolam, Bupropion and Sertraline, according to an affidavit seeking a search warrant. Terwell also told officers he had thrown a Marijuana bong into the kitchen trashcan before police arrived, according to the affidavit. As of February 8, no criminal charges have been filed.

When it takes Cesar Milan and several of his staff to stop a pit bull fight, one of which was his animal and the other one he had been working with for three months (I guess he doesn't know how to train them either), your garbage argument goes out the window.
