I usually try to leave it for about 10 minutes, but honestly it depends on how many chickens I am doing. If I'm in a rush the time is shorter. Thanks for the comment. 🙂

We slaughtered all the ones in the chicken tractor, they were a meat breed. So it ended up being 12 birds. We did the roosters about 2 weeks before the hens to give the hens more time to grow. Thanks!
