Nothing is as good as rowing your boat with a Muncie 4 speed. I have a M20 in my 66 Chevelle. My first car a 56 Chevy 150 2 door had an M22 in it. Loved the whine of that Rockcrusher, Good memories. Your car sounds awesome.

Thanks brother, I agree shifting gears is way more fun than just throwing it in gear and hitting the gas. Man I love 66 Chevelle’s they are my favorite year my old man has a 67 Chevelle with a m22 the sounds it makes are amazing. I appreciate you tuning in 🙌🏻and commenting.

First time watching, I'm still waiting for some bang shifting, I didn't see any, look like normal driving to me. You need to drive it like you stole it, btw, your transmission, or drive shaft will break before the FORD 9" will.

Oh you got that right it’s hard to hold back lol I know I liked the shorter shifter over the tall shifter it just feels right.

Is that a hurst competition plus shifter or a hurst super shifter ?

thanks for the reply do you know if a super shifter would work, or does it take a lot more cutting of the trans tunnel? i do know they sit up a lot higher thanks

I guess the super shifter is the same exact shifter except it has beefier shifting rods and mounting bracket from what I’ve read about it.

⁠I’ve got a super shifter that came with the Muncie I bought. I’m just worried that it requires a lot more cutting of trans tunnel. I can’t find any clear answers on forums I’m not trying to butcher my tunnel
