How to ID Russula mushrooms: Smashed in 60 seconds

Russulas are so brittle becuase they have very round cells in contrast to most mushrooms which have elongated cells. I am not sure why round cells make a mushroom brittle. (My guess is theres just less friction between all the round cells becuase spheres have a low surface area.)

We only have poison ☠️ growing where I am. Sad really… it’s so moist here they literally grow in my potted plants 🪴. But not safe for eating.❤
