Picknpulled one from a 2005 350Z, but the build date was 10/2004. Hopefully when I look inside the cover it will be the real deal. Thanks for the great video that actually shows what to look for. 🤞👍

Thanks for explaining that, this will be good for picking up transmissions when I can't run the VIN on the spot but I can use a ratchet to check.

Gambled on a June of '04 production 350Z trans at the yard, sadly it's a CD008 but I won't complain for $150. Thanks for the information man

Thank you sir just bought one in the house and says CDO#1 , just like you said open it up and is the solid plate , I also have a Nissan 720 with a 2jz with a DCT transmission 7 speed on a maxecu bought the CD009 for a backup , much help thanks

found a cd without a cut bell housing (No vin). Is the one piece solid plate a guarantee its a CD009?

I have a 2007 Camry and it shuts off when I put it in drive. I had the transmission resealed but I’m not sure what to do next

Could be multiple issues causing the the problem. Would have to look at it

Hi Mr davills can I remove my original engine and transmission from my 1980 datsun truck and install a Nissan Sylvia 1999.black s15 sr20det engine and5speed transmission .thank you and have a great weekend.

Yes you can, some modifications will be necessary but I did find a guy that makes sr20 swap mounts for Nissan/Datsun. His page is on instagram @i2edeye
