This list is general list of most farmers and NOT list of farmers using Bovear . The list is for people to make enquiries to find out whether they use additive or not. If you use specific product, find the farm and email or call them and then share the findings in the community. There are only 30 farms that are participating in trial !

I phoned every farm shop in my area (Somerset) and it seems that local farms who supply farm shops do not use Arla or Bovaer. It seems to me that only the supermarkets and obviously their quick stop shops are involved. We must remain vigilant however, and support our farm shops as much as possible.

Any dairy that labels their product as Bovaer free will do very well.
@hicnar
@hicnar 18 күн бұрын
No, not really. As consumers we are not interested in "Bovaer free" labels and that's because those who feed cows with that s**t believe it gets broken down relatively quickly in their digestive tracts, and consequently does not end up in milk (meat) and thus has no effect on us consumers. So with that in mind they in good conscience could label anything with a "Bovaer free" sticker. What we would like instead is to have clear message stating that none of the cows whose milk (meat) was used to produce whatever you're buying were fed with Bovaer.

Yeo Valley is in the Arla coop but cannot and doesn't use Bovaer because its milk is organic. In fact any organic milk, even if made from within the Arla coop (e.g. Asda organic milk) will always be Bovaer free. Grahams is not in Arla coop. Grahams have stated neither their organic or non organic milk cattle will ever be fed Bovaer.

The company manufacturing *Bovaer* is the Dutch-Swiss company DSM, who coincidentally has invested in *Meatable* a _cultivated NON-NATURAL meat_ business. If the market for beef drops due to hesitancy because of Bovaer, then DSM will STILL make money from their 'meat substitute' via their partner company 'Meatable'. They have covered their bases - or maybe even deliberately aim to put people off beef, so that their 'alternative meat' will become the only 'safe' choice. Follow the £$£$£$£.

To make light life simpler for consumers, I’d recommend dairies and producers whose milk comes from herds that are not fed Bovaer (or Bill Gates version of this), states this fact on the label. In my opinion this would be compliant to Article 3 of Assimilated Regulation 1169/2011, to enable final consumers to make ‘informed choices” “with particular regard to health, economic, environmental, social and ethical considerations.” It’s likely to go against ESG - economic and social governance requirements being pushed by the WEF via bank lending etc.

Thanks Ana for your work. @AnasFoodLifestyle One thing, if using 'bovaer' (non-methane-producing-food-additive for cows) is a scientific trial, where is the observation trial for the following possible side-effect on human consumption? If 'trial' milk is sent to a collective processing plant and mixed with 'non-trial' milk, the human consumption side is obviously not included in the trial. The effect of lack of truthful information will be a boycotting of the market products due to fear and confusion. This is normal for the controlling factions in society to achieve their agenda's end-game, which, we are already learning, is to reduce animal farming (to reduce methane, we are told, and convert us to insect-protein), take over farming land and ultimately to control (reduce) the population.

The goal is to disrupt … to reduce consumption of dairy… to hit dairy farming, and push up beef prices. Prices and safety concerns will move more people to plant based alternatives, again hitting the dairy farmers forcing some to move away from dairy/cattle altogether.

Very informative video again Ana, thank you. I think we're at an advantage in Wales as theres so much dairy produce from local farms. I buy most of our dairy from our milkman but sometimes buy Grahams too. They put out a statement early on so I think theyre trustworthy. Ive noticed some adverts on FB for mail order milk now, particularly raw milk. The organic association put out a statement about Bovaer so I assume Arla cant use it in their organic milk. Its hard to trust anything these days.

that is NOT fair on farmers. Farmers are enticed into contracts with these big companies, and then have to do whatever that company says! it is selling your soul to the devil, and farmers know that, but when times are tough and you need a constant income it is the only way they can achieve that. Think of it as you having a zero hours contract, but still having to pay your mortgage etc, an then finding out the company which gives you the most hours and seems OK to work for offers you a permanent position, then you find out they are hell to work for in reality! That is the position many farmers find themselves in.

Farmers are under immense pressure to decrease emissions and ‘help’ the agricultural sector meet Net Zero targets. It’s very possible that some farmers have been told by Arla, or other processors that they MUST use Bovear to help Arla meet its own Net Zero targets. Dairy farmers are particularly vulnerable to pressure from processors, as the processor can cancel contracts overnight leaving no way for farmers to sell the milk- even though they still need to feed and milk their cows. Dairy farmers are in very very vulnerable. Thousands of dairy farms have gone bust in the past 20 years because of the practices of the processors and the supermarkets. No farmer will voluntarily spend money buying a product that doesn’t improve their bottom line and very possibly impacts the health and fertility of their cows.

A lot of farmers joined the ARLA cooperative a number of years ago as supermarkets were forcing prices down on dairy products. For some farmers it was their only way of staying in business. Now ARLA calls the shots and the farmers, who can't afford to leave the cooperative, have to do what ARLA says. The whole food system is being trashed big companies on one side and the govt on the other....as if trying g to produce crops in ever changing weather circumstances wasn't enough....Did you know we had to import some veg this yr to meet the Christmas demand as our fields hadn't produced enough due to poor weather ?

I have just been in Tesco and one women just bought 6 large bottle of cravendale and all the milk was flying off the shelves. I cannot get Grahams milk here and trying to get bovaer free milk where I am is neigh on impossible. I will not buy Yeo valley milk, Greek yoghurt or anything else for that matter on principle because of their link to Arla. Thing is people will just go back to buying the bovaer milk because they have no choice, they cannot source anything else. In my area you cannot get McQueens to deliver milk or any other dairy to deliver. Even I am just about defeated!

Yeo Valley have announced that the anti-fart muck is not allowed in organic milk as it is against the Soil Association ethics. But if they are getting milk from non Soil Association approved organic farms that say they are organic - what is in the milk? I'm waiting to hear from Chew Valley at the moment, I only wrote earlier today. If I get a response, I will write to Yeo Valley about my concerns. For readers in Ireland. Bovaer is being trialed here. Milk is usually €1.15 a litre. If you can afford it go for the organic which costs a little more at €1.35

There should be a list available with the Bovaer free alternatives. Many people won't know how to use this list. Is the Graham's one ok or not?
