Thanks for the re- upload. Yes this plant is one of the first signs of spring, always loved seeing it as purple is my favorite color... Thanks for the warning about it's side effect, I'll just stick to admiring it. ☺

My back yard is covered in these guys. Love them. They aren’t growing very tall so I’m not mowing them down, my back yard is a beautiful green and purple. Love it.

FWIW, I just watched a British foraging video where the guy seems to call this plant "ground ivy." Although he says it smells like a used car dealership, so maybe it's something entirely different, but it looks more like this than like creeping charlie.

Please, I put hen it in jar, dried, covered it with vodka but I didn’t top off the jar, been shaking it a little most every day, but my hen it is kind of brown looking, the alcohol is dark, has my henbit oxidized? Hope you can answer this, I did add more dried henbit and alcohol, this stuff is expensive to make, I pray I did not ruin it by not typing it off to very top.

There's many plants and even tree species that go by other names depending on your location. I personally don't think it's a big deal, tomato tomahto 🙂
