When there is a major injury a line will not move from like -3 to -7. If it did the Sharps would lay -3 then maybe take -7. If major injury the game is Removed from the Board! Then gets adjusted by the bookmaker. Also the better way to determine Sharp money is to compare number of tickets sold to volume of money being wagered. Sharp money may have 30 percent of tickets but 60 percent of volume.

You bringing in more variables which could change the evaluation. In general, if line doesn’t move, it favors the favorite.

Correct, line move favored Rams. A common mistake many will make is the assumption "the correct handicapping" works 100% of the time. However, the correct way to handicap or process handicapping is if you use the correct strategies for handicapping 100% of the time, it will work most of the time.

If the line mooves down;ie from -2 to -1.5, is that reverse line movement always going to be sharps, while public will make the line move from -2 to -3?

It could be both. Reverse line movement is when majority of ticket count is on one team but line moves in the other direction. Example - Cowboys are -3 and getting 64% of the ticket count but line moves down to -2.5. This is reverse line movement.

Sharps bet on both. The scenario you described more times than not is sharp movement.
