It’s always advisable to Invest judiciously, keep a stop loss figure. Shuffle between debt and equity wherever the ratio goes too off your target. As for the target I use an FA who recommends a Ratio like this Debt % should be equal to your age in years. If you are 20, debt is 20%, reset in equity. If the market falls or rises drastically, your debt % will change, which you should rebalance to 20% and bring back equity to 80%. Thus you would have bought low or booked profit depending on if it was a crash or a bull run. Used this to build a 7 figure portfolio.

Good stuff you slightly missed the point about the UK chap drawing pension early. He was talking about private pension not state pension. However imo the issues will remain the UK won't reduce the personal pension age because of the risk of those private pension holders falling back on state once they squander it.

Some confusion on the UK question. The state pension retirement age is currently 66. What Barry was saying refers is that you can access your personal pension earlier (55 currently, rising to 57 in 2028) which includes a 25% tax free lump sum. Totally agree that the state pension age will never reduce

Have over £500 k in MSTR, ,Considering buying Tesla, when I reduce MSTR position. IE, sell $100 bn market cap of MSTR and then buy $60 bn market cap in Tslr. It appears to me there is a time difference in the capitisation of these companies. I believe MSTR as the low cap will grow quicker, but I think Tesla is a great story, but starting at $750 bn ! I rented in the past. The upper rentals ran smooth & reliable. But steer clear of low rentals & the section 8 prospects ... who have the majority of their rent subsitized by the government ! The small remaining portion might come from room mate rent money or college loans. Some rental businesses require a credit score/report. That's an advantage, but who is legally allowed to obtain (& can be trusted) with your social security # ... aside from banks, loan companies & car insurance companies?
