This is just superb, I've been looking for "do you put the resistor before or after the led?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Henucas Panrooklyn Equalizer - (just google it )? It is a smashing exclusive guide for discovering how to repair electronic devices like a pro without the normal expense. +colorado wilderness Resistance is used to limit the current in circuit. Now the multiplication of voltage across resistance and current through it indicate the total wattage dissipate. So if the dissipate wattage is 5 watt and we use a 1 watt resistor instead 5 watt then the extra 4 watt will burn the 1 watt resistor by generating heat.
