A chain alignment tool would’ve done a lot of good and life longevity for this bike. I just bought one. It mounts to the rear sprocket and has a metal rod about 6 inches long on top of this little block that’s mounted to the rear sprocket. If the metal rod isn’t straight down the middle of the chain you gotta problem. Good video. New sub for you. Oh ya got introduced to you from bloodshot airbrushing. 😎😎😎

whats your mileage when you install new till it worn out

Hi Julia, no idea, the ones I took off were on the 40-year-old bike when I bought it (who knows how old they were?), and this is not my daily ride, so it’ll probably outlast my ownership....

Pro trick: you can watch movies at flixzone. I've been using them for watching a lot of movies lately.

Interesting video, Thanks. Have you encountered stiff links in a chain? or maybe an inflexible link and how to loosen?

If the links are stiff then they have no lubrication/have gone dry - or the o-ring (if its an o-ring chain) has failed and the lube has worked its way out. You need to get lubrication in between the pins and bushings in the chain, however if the link has been dry for some time the link is probably badly worn and chain should be replaced. You could soak the whole chain in a tub of oil for a day or so to see if the oil works its way back into the links. Of course this will make a big mess on the bike as the oil will be flung off when you ride. The lesson here would be to ensure the chain is well lubricated and it not allowed to go dry.
