This is an overview of the ieGeek 720P outdoor IP bullet camera, you can purchase it from Amazon for approx. 40 Euros. The camera comes with power cable (approx. 2 meters), ethernet cable, mounting screws, installation software on a CD and a poorly written instruction booklet.

Do you need the SD card in cfoe it to work I plugged it all in with ethranet cable it won’t fink my camer just keeps saying offline 😢

You do not need the SD card. The IP-cam works without SD and you must see it in you local network with SearchWizard tool. After power on and passing boot process the LED on the ethernet connector is flashing. If not, something is wrong.

Hi, what software are you using to configure camera , I have a Iegeek camera I am trying to install. Can it be installed without making hard wire connection, via wireless connection ? I have not been able to get it to work. thanks Charlie

Hi, you need the wired LAN cable for first installation during searching the camera. Camera and smartphone (or PC) must share the same network. You must download app 'CamHI' from App Store or Google Play. You may use the Search tool on your PC to find the camera IP address. In case of trouble, you should contact the ieGeek support (I'm not involved or affiliated with this company).

Did you manage to get yours to twist on the horizontal axis? I could only get mine to move on the vertical. So in order to angle the camera to the right I had to rotate it in the clamp and angle the vertical axis down. This results in a wonky image. Yours looks like it is straight and level and twisted on the horizontal

I used both axes to align the image horizontally. In total you have three axes (including the clamp). Carefully loosen both hexagon screws, one after the other and you may have to rotate the housing when opening the second screw to adjust the horizontal line. It's a little tricky, but should work to align the picture - good luck!

You can use email notifications. Configure your correct email settings (e.g. google-mail: smtp.gmail.com Server Port: 587 TLS/STARTTLS)

Hi, I am going to order this camera. Just to confirm how many days video 128GB SD card will record. If two days then after two days it will automatically erase last day. How is video result & wifi range. My camera position is 25m away from router.

You can select the length of alarm recording, frame rate and bit rate in a wide range which results in the necessary amout of memory on SD card. For detailled settings you may prefer the PC client. A good starting point is the following setting: resolution 1024x720, frame rate: 25fps, bit rate of 1024kbps, key frame interval: 50 I selected a short alarm sequence (15 - 30 sec) and in this case a small SD card with 8 or 16 MB is sufficient for some weeks. A setting chooses how to proceed when the SD card is full: either stop recording or to erase the oldest records. Video quality is really good, see the example with IR night view at the end of my video! I have no problems with the wifi range, but difficult to predict your situation. In practice the wifi range will be dependent on barriers (wall), metallic objects etc.

Design fault why not have the cable that can plug into the back of the camera so I can drill a small hole in the wall and have all that bulky stuff in the house so I don't need to pur6a water proof box on the wall
