THANK YOU KEITHRON! My group and I did a thing: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oGGqqWt6YsyXrrM There's a fair amount of degradation after 13 mixdowns(!), and it was arduous, but thanks for schooling me on all the techniques.

Thank you so much for this tutorial video. I wanted to creat a video for my classroom and was the perfect one. One thing I did differently is when I bring in the second video and sync it to the original with the audio, I just deleted the audio part on the second video and sync it with the original. It took time since I had 9 videos to combine, but it was easy to do. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

I’ve done that too. I usually swap all the audio at the end so that it is fresh.

Hi this is nice, where do you get the grid tho
@hugh3003 жыл бұрын
Yes, where?
@samirabutt96963 жыл бұрын
If you go into your ‘finder’ application, then go to downloads, it should be there. (If you open your iMovie project next to it, it will make this next bit a bit easier) select iMovie library and drag the Grid JPEG from the finder into the ‘My Media’ section. It should be there now :)

THANK YOU - this was really helpful in a very short video I had an idea of what I wanted to do but had no idea I could in iMovie. My only thought is the other video showing how to make the grid needs a little more explanation of the screen shot you need. That being said that video and this made it way easier then I thought it would be.

Hi Keithron, thank you so much for this video! It’s very insightful and informative. Can you also apply this method on iPhone 12 or is this process only done through your Mac PC?

Mac only…. The app is really not meant for heavy lifting. It’s really a companion app to the Mac app.

Hey thanks for this video brother. It's the only one on this imovie grid feature. Can we change the grid to 20 squares instead of 9? So it's 5 across & 4 down?

my question is, if you mute the other tracks, how do multiple audio tracks come through in the finished product? example: wont only one singer be heard if you mute the others?
@KeithronPowell3 жыл бұрын
I think you missed, either in this video or another, where I discuss how I make these tracks vocally first. I record them in Logic Pro and then mix and master them. Then I lip sync to the finished audio.

I’ve been working on a song project with multiple video clips like this and the more clips I add... certain sections go out of sink From the audio and I have no idea how to not have that happen
@KeithronPowell4 жыл бұрын
It’s a sad fact of iMovie... 1) do not rush... after each one you’ve gotta let it render (5min) minimum. 2) you’ve gotta re-add the sound each time. It sucks but it’s reality. The only way to make it work perfectly with no slipping is to move to Final Cut
@curtiswilliams32724 жыл бұрын
What version of iMovie are you using. I'm seeing things on your screen, that I don't

So since I need to show 4 people competing against each other individually in separate videos at the same time... with like exactly 100 groups as such... bruh I’m dead... how powerful was Keynote again?
@KeithronPowell3 жыл бұрын
Man just get Final Cut! 😂 I had to switch. I still do iMovie tutorials but I’m personally using FCP. Keynote will be just as difficult as iMovie.
